Mike Roll is a commercial artist and illustrator living in Central Florida. He's best known for his adorably gruesome Apooka series of children-friendly comics chronicling the life (death?) of an endearing, cute-as-a-button zombie child. He was also a guest artist in Scratch 9 comics. He illustrated The Trains of Christmas as well as numerous children’s books.

He also creates designs and layouts for books such as Robert Miller’s Trial by FIRE: A Photojournalist’s Return to the Flames and HIDDEN HELL DISCOVERING MY FATHER’S P.O.W. DIARY Revised and Expanded with New Archival Discoveries.

Mike draws live caricatures (both traditional and digital) and live doodles with his doodlebooth: “Mr. Doodlebooth.” He also enjoys hosting live drawing sessions.
